Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Paid Search Specialist to manage and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine marketing (SEM) and will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid search strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and ROI for our clients. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, creative problem-solving, and a strong command of digital marketing tools and techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop, implement, and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant platforms. This includes keyword research, ad creation, bidding strategies, and budget management.

  • Optimization and Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost-per-click (CPC), and return on ad spend (ROAS). Implement A/B testing, refine targeting, and optimize bids to maximize campaign efficiency.

  • Keyword Management: Conduct thorough keyword research and maintain a comprehensive keyword list, ensuring relevance and alignment with client goals. Utilize negative keyword strategies to minimize irrelevant traffic.

  • Ad Copy and Creative Development: Craft compelling ad copy and creative assets that resonate with target audiences and align with client branding. Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce visually engaging and effective ads.

  • Landing Page Optimization: Work closely with the web design team to develop and optimize landing pages that drive conversions. Ensure seamless integration between ad campaigns and landing pages, using best practices in UX/UI design and CRO.

  • Reporting and Insights: Generate detailed campaign performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Present findings to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Budget Management: Effectively manage client budgets, ensuring campaigns stay within allocated spend while maximizing results. Identify opportunities for budget reallocation to enhance performance.

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding paid search campaigns. Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction with campaign performance.

  • Industry Research and Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEM. Apply this knowledge to enhance campaign strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing paid search campaigns, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful PPC campaigns with measurable results.
  • Certification in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or similar platforms is highly desirable.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting to ensure the highest level of accuracy and performance.

Location

This position is offered on a remote basis. However, as we grow, we will consider establishing offices in cities where a significant number of our team members are located, fostering collaboration and community.

Working Hours

This role typically requires availability from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility depending on project needs and client demands.

Reporting Structure

The Paid Search Specialist will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing. You will also work closely with the SEO team, content creators, and the web design team to ensure seamless integration of digital marketing strategies.
