Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SEO strategies, analytics, and best practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and implement effective SEO campaigns, analyze performance data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our clients’ online presence.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and Execute SEO Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to each client’s unique goals and industry landscape.
Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search terms, assess competition, and uncover content opportunities.
On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta descriptions, title tags, and other on-page elements to enhance search engine visibility and relevance.
Technical SEO: Perform technical audits to identify and rectify issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexability, and mobile optimization.
Content Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with content creators to ensure that all published materials align with SEO best practices and target relevant keywords.
Link Building: Develop and execute white-hat link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO-specific software.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously research and stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Competitor Analysis: Regularly analyze competitor websites to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with web developers, designers, and the digital marketing team to ensure cohesive strategies and implementations.
Local SEO: Optimize client websites for local search, including managing and updating Google My Business profiles and other local directories.
A/B Testing: Design and implement A/B tests to determine the effectiveness of various SEO strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Client Communication: Participate in client meetings to present SEO strategies, progress reports, and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SEO.
- Proven track record of successful SEO campaigns and measurable results.
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in SEO Tools: Expertise with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website administration.
Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, think critically, and develop effective solutions.
Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies in response to algorithm changes and evolving industry standards.
Location
This position is offered on a remote basis. As our team grows, we are open to establishing offices in cities where a significant number of our employees are located, fostering local collaboration and community.
Working Hours
The typical working hours for this role are from 8 AM to 5 PM, aligning with standard business hours to facilitate collaboration and communication.
Reporting Structure
The SEO Specialist will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and will collaborate closely with other members of the marketing and development teams.
